Volunteers at The Wandering Man offer their time freely to contribute positively to the community without any financial benefit. Opportunities for volunteering include roles as members, General Volunteers, Online Community Champions, or participants in the Speaker & Ambassador Program.
We are dedicated to maintaining the privacy of our volunteers and operate in strict accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other applicable Australian laws regarding personal information management.

We gather, retain, use, and disclose personal information to facilitate your registration and involvement as a volunteer with our organization.

During the volunteer registration process, we invite you to provide personal details through an electronic form, which may include your name, address, date of birth, gender identity, qualifications, health information, and reasons for volunteering. Answering most questions on the form is optional.

- Create and manage your volunteer profile, enabling participation;
- Address website management needs, allowing volunteer engagement; and
